Cheap and cheerful vegan food and lovely service. For the money (7-8 for a big plate of food) you cannot really complain.

Tuesday 11 February 2025 - a request was made. Came here to get the items, when in Ipoh. This is by far quite a comprehensive vegetarian shop. Besides prepacked takeaways, there is mixed rice (all vegetarian) for dine in and takeaway. Overall the shop is very organized, clean and neat. Feels nice when you walk in.

Great tasting traditional vegetarian fare. Lots of different dishes and not too oily or overly flavorful and has the staples such as sweet and sour dishes and fried and stir fried items. Lots of noodle choices also. Will come again definitely.

We went there early in the morning where the food was just ready to be served. They are still quite hot so I would suggest go in the morning because most vegetarian shops were closed early morning during the weeekend. The dishes were delicious especially the petai and fried pepper tofu. It also has a variety of dishes. The environment is archaic and took you back in time. The price of the food is between 5 to 10 Rm. I would say pretty reasonable.

First day back to Malaysia having holiday, looking for convenient vegetarian hawkers stall coincidentally saw Sin Meng Kee very obviously, free car space in front restaurant. Many varieties for my selections, selected dried noodles and flat noodles with small portions and ice coffee as well as Chinese tea. Great hospitality from staff too

Great budget-friendly option with good value for money. The restaurant is basic but functional, with round tables available. There are several options to choose from, all vegetarian. The staff speaks English and is willing to explain the various dishes to you. Good and tasty food at a very low price. You compose your plate and then they tell you the price. If you are in the area and want something quick and cheap this place is a great option.

Buffet style restaurant with a selection of Chinese vegan type foods trays of food to choose from. Hygiene may not be up to the quality of western restaurants, if that is a concern you may wish to eat somewhere else. Drinks were pretty good too. Located next to a busy road in the heart of the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful, if you need help. Food and drinks are very inexpensive but taste pretty good for the cost. Can get a bit busy during meal times.
